Battle of The Bands: Orientation Day

Battle of the Bands is a rhythm based-RPG and your main goal is to create your own band by battling some of your fellow students, while other bands send their lackeys to bring you down.

Our game is played from a 2D-Top down point of view with a pixel art style reminiscent of older games. Throughout the game you are searching for band members and in order to recruit them you will have to battle against them. While this goes on you will need to fight the lackeys of other bands or else get knocked out for the rest of the day missing any opportunities you had at recruiting potential Band Mates. After recruiting a full team at the very end of the game you will be able to fight against the bands that had tried to keep you down in the school’s Battle of the Bands. During fights, you’ll face off other characters in turn-based combat involving rhythm based  gameplay in order to attack.

• Play through meticulously made music that was created for each character you battle against
• Take a break from battling and help out the College’s Professors and enjoy their own specific mini-games
• On the fated day join the event, Battle of the Bands, and fight against the Colleges different bands hearing your music style clash against their music style
